It should be kept as short as possible as this data is stored repeatedly in the database. The Site Name should be a concise description of the network being connected to. These connections can be made either with a direct Ethernet connection, via a Regular IP or a Foreign IP connection (only one Ethernet site is available). Please note that you can add multiple sites on the same CopperCube. In short, the Site Name is a unique name of your BACnet network with a unique range of devices. You need to enter the connection type, device number for the CopperCube on the network and a name that you assign for the site that you want to connect to. The site provides a definition for the CopperCube to connect to the BACnet network and retrieve data. Click Test Connection to verify that the SQL parameters are correct.We support Microsoft MS SQL, mySQL and PostgreSQL. The CopperCube supports sending data to an SQL server. Log into Kaizen, create the building and map the CopperCube to it using the Site Name and the Device Range that you use in step 4 (below).
